Meet The Printmaker!

Hello! I'm Anna Maraziti, the artist behind AVM Wildlife Prints.

My work is inspired by a lifelong appreciation of wildlife and the outdoors. I find myself constantly inspired by the ecosystems around me, spending countless hours observing animals and exploring wild places. My artwork is a way of sharing those experiences and celebrating the wild things that make the natural world so fascinating.

Each print begins with photographs, sketches, and memories gathered during my travels and time spent outdoors. Back in the studio, those observations are transformed into bold, graphic prints using traditional printmaking techniques. I love the process of simplifying an animal into strong shapes, expressive lines, and vibrant colors while still capturing the essence of the encounter that made me stop and take notice in the first place.

Originally from New Jersey, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2023 before moving to New Mexico to continue my artistic journey. I am currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking at the University of New Mexico, where I am further developing my skills as a printmaker and expanding my body of work.

When I'm not pulling prints, you'll probably find me searching for wildlife with a camera, hiking in a national park, or finding an excuse to spend another day outside enjoying my many other outdoor hobbies. My hope is that these prints bring a little bit of the same sense of curiosity and appreciation for the natural world that I have into your home.
